Ukraine is a country full of beautiful women. I'm talking knock-outs. In fact, I'm pretty sure all the desired phenotypes in this great world of ours got dumped right here in Eastern Europe. Hell, even the face of the former prime minister, Yulia Tymoshenko, is enough to make the suit-donning leaders of the Free World turn their heads a bit.
Here in Lugansk, this generous gene pool has resulted in one of our most defining city descriptions: Mail-Order Bride Capital of Ukraine. Okay, so I've learned that "International Marriage Agency" is the preferred term for the business, but either way, it still results in quite a few Western men making the trek to our fine city in search of a little arm candy (as well as more than a few super scammy agencies to bitterly sweeten those encounters).
Given all of this, it was no surprise that I stumbled upon a mass exodus of white chiffon and taffeta in our park the other day; Brides On Parade, if you will. Lugansk might not be the prettiest looking city, but I have a feeling people aren't coming here for the architectural wonders of block housing:
